Design Thinking for Creative Services

Presentation in:

Maybe you already thought about diversification. But how can you do it? And what has design to do with it?

Design is a process that implies thinking about the attributes of an object, a product, a service. As Tim Brown describes it, Design Thinking is “a discipline that uses the designer’s sensibility and methods to match people’s needs with what is technologically feasible and what a viable business strategy can convert into customer value and market opportunity.”

Design Thinking is here used as an approach for service innovation. It is a collaborative process that stems from insights and ideas, and relies on (shared) experiences.

From the user perspective, translators can learn how to provide new and meaningful services that will allow them to create solutions their clients will appreciate and covet.

Strategy, creativity, experience, trial & error, processes, and value will be seen as vital elements.
