Complex translation jobs: how to reduce anxiety and improve quality
Presentation in:
Translation projects are increasingly complex. Translators have to organize their work taking into account complex (and sometimes confusing) instructions, tight deadlines, difficult texts and clients with scant knowledge of translation processes. I will look into what other industries are doing to manage complexity (focusing on aviation and healthcare). Afterwards, I will present some practical tips to deal with complexity in our own industry. This presentation is aimed at any translator willing to work better every day.
