COMUNICADO

Considerando a situação atual da COVID-19 em Portugal e no mundo, não nos é possível prever quando terminará esta crise e retomaremos o nosso quotidiano. Por este motivo, e em cumprimento das recomendações das autoridades portuguesas, a Direção da APTRAD decidiu, mais uma vez, adiar a 1ª Conferência Internacional de Tradução Audiovisual agora para 2021.

Além disso, e como neste momento, não conseguimos saber exatamente quando estarão reunidas todas as condições para acolher uma conferência internacional, decidimos deixar essa decisão para a segunda semana de setembro de 2020, altura em que anunciaremos a data em que irá ser realizado o evento sem quaisquer alterações em termos de formato e, esperamos, de programa.

Neste sentido, agradecemos que todos – patrocinadores, oradores e participantes – nos informem se pretendem manter a participação na 1ª Conferência Internacional de Tradução Audiovisual, ou cancelar a mesma (o que esperamos não aconteça) – sendo que todas as condições acordadas se mantêm inalteradas. 

Esperamos poder contar com a vossa presença em 2021, para que nos seja possível oferecer a todos o evento que organizámos e que gostaríamos muito pudesse acontecer!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Considering the ongoing COVID-19 situation in Portugal and worldwide, it is not possible to predict when this crisis will end and our normal lives will resume. Therefore, and in compliance with the recommendations of the Portuguese authorities, APTRAD’s Board has made the decision to, once again, postpone its 1st International Audiovisual Conference, now set for 2021.

At this moment, we are unable to determine when all conditions for hosting an international conference will be met. Therefore, we will postpone this decision to the second week of September 2020, when we expect to announce a new date for our event, which will be held without any alterations regarding the format and, we hope, the program.

For this reason we thank all sponsors, speakers and participants to, please let us know whether you would like to maintain your participation on the 1st International Audiovisual Translation Conference, under the same terms agreed before, or to cancel it (which we hope not!). 

With your help and support we hope to continue having you on our Conference, so that we all can offer in 2021 the event we have organized and worked so hard over these last months! 

We thank you for your understanding and we remain available to answer any questions or give you any information you might find useful and necessary.
